Guest-authored blogs do not purport to reflect the opinions or views of the GEM Report or UNESCO.<\/p>\n<p>We aim to raise fundamental questions about global education, \u00a0especially on the particular themes of our annual report. We intend this blog to be a discussion forum for everyone interested in promoting the right to quality learning. We welcome comments on blog posts. (We do, however, retain the right to remove any comment we judge to be objectionable.)<\/p>\n<p>The GEM Report&#8217;s mandate is to monitor progress towards the education targets in the new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework.<\/p>\n<p>The GEM Report is a singular, comprehensive, analytical and authoritative reference for reviewing and advancing the global follow-up and review of education.
